Between April 10th and April 12th 2013, paySmart was at the 18th edition of the CARDS Payment & Identification tradeshow and conference, at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo. CARDS is biggest cards and electronic payments event in the Americas.
There was a 40% growth in visitors from the previous edition.
SMARTCON | paySmart had a significant participation in the event. The event was the debut of the paySmart brand and a place to receive customers, partners and visitors – several independent schemes wanting to know more about paySmart’s independent EMV solution in the cloud. At paySmart booth there were demonstrations of the fragility of the magnetic stripe technology (cloning), how EMV solves the problem with mutual authentication between card, terminal and issuer and how paySmart technology speeds up the process of migration from magnetic stripe to EMV and the integration with personalization bureaux, acquirers and processors.
As a reference in safety for the industry, paySmart was also invited to participate in the CARDS Conference, speaking about “Information Security in the Cloud”. paySmart’s Business Development Director, Mr. Daniel F. Nunes de Oliveira, was the responsible for the lecture.
